This series consists of drawings and paintings entitled "Chimera." Combining her inventive use of form and skillful use of paint, Casis creates images that seduce the viewer into an aberration of desire and repulsion. As the exhibition title suggests, the distortions Casis creates references the mythology of the chimera. The paintings and drawings are a strange sort of hybrid, and appear to be a curiosity one encounters by accident.
